In 1905 David Ash and his family move back to the United States from England after the accidental death of his twin siter. David went again to England to teach. He is invited to Edbrook to calm down the fears of the elderly nanny of the Mariell family. Right after he arrives in Edbrook's train station, a pretty young lady named Christina is waiting for him. After staying a few weeks in the Mariell's residence for investigation, David fall inloved to Christina. Their relationship and his investigation come to unexpected revelations.
